AI cofounders need inboxes the world can reach
Storefronts, vendors, and ads accounts email the company. Give the AI cofounder a fleet of inboxes and forward the rest to the human founder.

Builders who pair with an AI co-founder still meet the internet through email. Payment processors send compliance questions. Ad platforms send policy strikes. Suppliers send invoices. Customers send “is this still available?” The AI can draft product and code all day; if those messages land only in the human’s personal inbox, the partnership is lopsided and the human remains the only citizen the outside world can reach.
Counterparties email
Storefronts and marketplaces assume a merchant email. Cloud vendors assume a billing contact. App stores assume an account owner. None of them will join your private Slack to keep the company alive. An AI co-founder that cannot be addressed on email cannot run the messy middle of early company operations, no matter how strong its planning prompts are.
Treat email as part of the founding stack next to the repo and the domain—not as an integration you will “add later” after the first compliance scare.
Fleet of inboxes, one human founder
Provision Agent Inbox mailboxes for the recurring roles: vendor ops, support, billing, and growth. Bind each to a Neuro OS role with clear skills. The human founder keeps a personal address for investor and personal mail. Forwarding rules escalate legal threats, banking holds, and anything that requires a signature to the founder with the thread attached.
Do not put the entire company behind one AI-owned alias. Split by function so you can pause growth mail without freezing billing, and so reputation issues stay contained to the role that caused them. When a function is temporary, give it a temporary mailbox and a retirement date.
Ask before the company speaks
Outbound that commits the company—pricing, refunds, ad account appeals, contract replies—defaults to Ask. The founder reviews until trust is earned. Routine order confirmations can move to Allow later. Block anything that would mass-email customers from an experimental skill, and block changes to recovery emails or payout destinations without a human gate.
This keeps the AI co-founder useful without inventing a fake “no human needed” company. Early-stage speed still needs a named human for irreversible acts. Ask is how you keep speed without silent commitments.
Setup that matches a small team
Create inboxes in minutes via API when a new function appears. Store skills and memory in git on Neuro OS so the operating method survives a laptop swap. Use sandboxes for tool use. Keep mailbox credentials server-side. Write a one-page directory of which address handles what so freelancers and early hires do not invent shadow aliases.
The AI co-founder becomes reachable the same way a new ops teammate would be reachable—through addresses the world already uses—while the human founder stays the escalation path for judgment, capital, and legal identity.
What “reachable” means in week one
Reachable means vendors can email a stable address, the AI co-founder can draft under Ask, and the human founder can open the same thread without hunting through personal folders. Put the addresses on your public contact page or ops runbook early. The outside world will email something; decide in advance which identities you want them to train on.
Agent Inbox gives each role a mailbox people can reply to, with forwarding into Neuro OS when a human must see the thread. Outbound mail defaults to Ask. Run the role on Neuro OS. To scope the first inbox, get started.
