The playbook

For first-time solo founders with an idea and a month of focused time. Works for SaaS, ecommerce, content, info-products, and services.

Time to results: first revenue within 30 days in most categories; $10K MRR within 90 days with the right wedge.

Week 1 — Idea validation + legal foundations

Days 1–3: Write the one-page memo (problem, customer, pricing, distribution).

Days 4–5: Do 10 customer interviews to verify pain and pricing. Most solo failures trace to skipping this.

Days 6–7: Incorporate (Stripe Atlas), open Mercury, buy the domain.

Week 2 — Stand up Neuro OS + ship the MVP

Days 8–9: Configure Neuro OS org chart. Brief the coordinator role on your memo. Start marketing, engineering, and finance roles at Ask before major action.

Days 10–14: Ship MVP — one landing page + one core product flow + one payment step. No blog, about page, or feature sprawl. Just the thing that makes money.

Week 3 — Go to first customer

Days 15–17: Soft launch to interview participants at a discount. 3–5 should convert if the wedge is real.

Days 18–21: Launch post (thread, Product Hunt, HN). Marketing role drafts; you edit for voice. Paid experiments only if LTV/CAC math supports it — Ask before spend.

Week 4 — First revenue + retrospective

Days 22–28: Watch acquisition and conversion. Finance role reports daily on revenue, CAC, gross margin. Double down on winning channels when LTV/CAC > 3 and payback < 90 days.

Days 29–30: 30-day retrospective. Continue, pivot, or kill. Revenue is the definitive signal.

Pitfalls to avoid

  • Building in secret for more than a week — over-engineering kills solo launches.
  • Skipping customer interviews — the most common cause of failure.
  • Adding features instead of shipping the payment path.
  • Raising before revenue — dilution before validation is almost always wrong.
  • Hiring a human for work your Neuro OS roles can own — even once breaks the model.

What Neuro OS adds

  • Org chart from day one — coordinator, marketing, engineering, finance roles with scoped connectors.
  • Ask gates — no external email, spend, or deploy without approval until trust is earned.
  • Skills in git — launch memo, ICP, and voice guide versioned alongside code.
