How the onboarding works
Starting a new role can be overwhelming. The onboarding program is designed to be smooth, welcoming, and empowering from day one.
1. Offer accepted
After offer acceptance, we open a shared Slack channel, order hardware, and prepare compliance and employee records in Rippling.
2. New email and tools
Email format is typically firstname@patternautomation.com, or firstname.lastname@patternautomation.com if needed.
New hires are invited to all communication, task, and role-specific systems.
3. Credit card and setup budget
Each new hire receives a Brex card with a $2,000 remote office allowance for hardware and workspace improvements.
4. First day
Welcome sessions with manager and onboarding buddy, plus operations walkthrough of week one and benefits.
5. First week
New hires publish a short intro post, finalize admin setup (equity and benefits), and configure systems and working preferences.
6. Ready to go
By the end of week one, the goal is that each new teammate feels informed, connected, and prepared to own their path.
